I have been classified by couples, friends, family, and other photographers as having a light, airy, romantic, and dreamy style of photography, and I would have to agree. Its just what I’m drawn to! Sometimes though you have to do something out of the ordinary. This shoot is just that. Though it has elements of all of my descriptive words, it is also moody, dark, glamorous, and editorial. Words I would not usually use to describe my work. The subject & the weather played a huge role in why I decided to take a turn to the darker side for one day (-:
My good photographer friend & co-founder of the Tampa Shutter Sisters, Jessica, is the face behind J Morgan Images. She is a wonderful boudoir photographer who excels at making women (mothers in particular) feel foxy & confidant. Jessica herself oozes it. Jessica’s photography is a bit moodier, with high contrast, dark shadows and leaves you feeling just a tad naughty. Lucy, one of our esteemed members, is a glamour photographer. The 3 of us, along with the talented B Moore Artistry, got together for a fun photo shoot where we made Jessica stand in a corset & skirt in the cold weather…and it was raining! Totally worth it though (-;
