Audrey & Sam’s Boston Public Gardens Engagement Photos

(Do I know its Christmas time and Im posting a Halloween-themed photos? Yes. Do I care? No. Long live Spooky Season!!!)

I remember jumping up and down a little bit when Audrey emailed me to tell me that she & Sam wanted us to come up to Boston for their engagement photos! We love to travel to new places and we’ve been to Boston before but going to New England in the Fall makes me SO HAPPY. I was born & raised on Long Island and while I enjoy living in the South, I miss Autumn so much…especially around Halloween!

They picked Beacon Hill & the nearby Boston Public Gardens for their photos. While there were a lot of people out and about, we were still able to find really quiet, secluded places for their photos. Jay and I had scouted out the areas about an hour before the shoot started but by the time we began shooting SO MANY people were at the gardens! We even had found this amazing tree that was pure orange & red with no one under it, but when we got to it with Audrey & Sam it was literally swarmed with Instagramers. Im not joking. You’ll kinda see the tree in the background of some of their photos but I blocked out the Instagrammers with a flower bush (-;

How Sam popped the question:
Sam surprised Audrey, who was convinced that he was going to propose on an upcoming road trip they had planned, but he said that as soon as he had the ring in his hands, he couldn’t wait to propose. He had such a hard time keeping the secret for 3 days that he couldn’t imagine waiting 3 weeks!

“I came home from work to find that Sam had decorated our apartment with candles and tons of photos of us and was (impatiently) waiting to pop the question. An intimate proposal in the comfort of our first apartment together with Noodle and Ragu (our cats) as witnesses couldn’t have been more perfect for us.” – Audrey

I’m pretty excited to see these two break it down on the dance floor at their Cedar Room wedding this spring with Love Craft Events!
