Candi & Laz had their engagement session done at the University of Tampa; a gorgeous spot in Tampa that was once a grand hotel built by Henry B. Flagler situated on the Hillsborough River. Candi got all dolled up for the session by scheduling her wedding day hair and makeup trial run beforehand and the couple dressed very smartly, as they are both business centered people. But that doesnt mean they dont know how to have fun (; In fact, Candi and I gave Laz quite a scare because we lingered a bit too long in the Ladies room while she got changed into her second outfit. We couldnt help it. The bathroom was a perfect photo spot! It had a beautiful chair situated next a tall window overlooking the wrap around porch of the lobby and a lounging chair. We had to…sorry, Laz!
We then drove the 2 seconds to Ybor City and photographed a bit outside of the Cuban American Club (it was closed so we couldnt go in) because Laz is Cuban so it was a spot that meant something to his family. Though most of Ybor is steeped in Cuban history!
