This Revealing Truths Ministries wedding was such a pleasure to photograph! I had first met the bride Ashley back in November when I photographed an event at Prodigy where she and my sister worked. I remember Ashley was so polite and friendly and I could totally see why my sister always had such nice things to say about her. When Lauren told me that Ashley had gotten engaged, I was genuinely thrilled for her! My sister wanted to hire me to photograph the wedding, as her “gift” to the bride and groom, so of course I said yes.
When I arrived at Revealing Truths Ministries on the morning of May 19th, I was instantly greeted by at least five different people before I even walked past the front desk. Two people even stopped to chat with me, and when I mentioned I was there for the wedding, one of them whipped out their phones and called someone to find out where I needed to be to photograph Ashley getting ready, and even brought me over to the location to make sure I could find my way. The parishioner’s of Revealing Truth have to be the most upbeat and friendly people I’ve ever met.
Chris’ father is a pastor at the church and he joined them in their union, making their ceremony all the more intimate.
The reception was held at Prodigy (Ashley’s work) on the outdoor patio. Ashley changed from her beautiful wedding gown into a white summer dress, to stay cool in the Florida summer heat! Smart girl.
